The basket. If you go here you can see where the stock holes are and where you can drill more. The rest of that thread is about modding the slipper to work better for road racing.

it seems like so many people have clutch problems on the k5 and up, but i've had the best of luck with mine. completely stock including steels/fibers i probably had over 100 passes at stock wheelbase. i'm just now replacing the fibers cause the stack height got to the bottom of the servicable limit. bike has 5k street miles on it too!

You should really get rid of the slipper cuz it can blow up! At least thats what Ive heard.

i dont think its an issue of blowing anything up, i think it's a clutch wear problem on deceleration. slipper clutches are for road racing, and i dont do that stuff anymore. i took the the three slipper adjustment screws/pins out a while back, so i guess its not 100% stock.

Its only what I heard. Ive never actually talked to anyone that has had it blow up.

you arent gonna tell a difference on a drag bike. the reason for doing it is for the slipper that is factory in the 05 and up 1000s. The extra oil helps keeps any engine braking from happening. there is no need to do it on a drag only bike, but on a street, or road race bike it is a must do.
