Ok got the code C00 ( no codes) so I assume it doesnt show stored codes. I guess the next time it happens I will need to check the codes before shutting the bike off???????? Anyone know if this is true?

If you have a power commander on the bike ti will happen when you beat on the bike. Its normal.

if you are running an air shifter
the f1 light will come on sometimes cause of the ignition kill/delay also ,,,
kill time makes ecu think theres a problem,,,,,,,,
sometimes can adjust less kill time
and f1 light dont come on any more
but cannot adjust too short,,,will miss 1st to 2nd gear
mine used to come on till i got kill time adjusted /lowered,,,,,,
a roll of the dice cause
sometimes on some bikes cannot ever to get it not to come on when runn hard ,,,,,,,,,,

checked codes and got 3 ignition codes.24, 25, 27. anyone know if this will cause a change in fuel injection setting that would result in a performance loss(like a fail safe mode)? will try shortening kill time just wondering what this does inside the ecu to fuel maps etc. Thanks

    efi and fuel inj
are on different drivers in the ecu

thats why no fuel code comes up
efi is still fully funtioning during kill time
thats why sometimes theres a pop/backfire during shifts from the exess raw fuel during kill time when ig. lights back up
    no hp or map loss

    again,,,beware of shotening kill time
an annoying f1 light is lots cheaper
than losing a pass or damaging tranny from missing a gear

and when your doing a burnout and leaning the bike side to side at high rpm's it will make the light come on and flash sd in the screen because of the steering dampner. mine does that alot, i just put a small peice of elec. tape to cover the red light
