05/06 GSXR 1000 Streetbike

This is a discussion about 05/06 GSXR 1000 Streetbike within the 1000's section, where you will 1 Liter Bike Talk for.... Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha; Here is my little street bike that i keep at my beach house in Myrtle Beach..I decided to do alittle work to the old girl to step her up just a touch and she responded

    Default 05/06 GSXR 1000 Streetbike

    Here is my little street bike that i keep at my beach house in Myrtle Beach..I decided to do alittle work to the old girl to step her up just a touch and she responded well..

    Details:

    Cycle Concepts ported head with stock oem valves
    Cycle Concepts cam combo-degree'd
    Kibblewhite valve spring kit
    Drop in Pistons 13.5:1 comp
    Flashed the ecu for lower fan temp,ext rpms,timing,etc..
    Fuel tuned tuned thru pc3
    OEM head gasket
    Undercut Tranny with low first gear
    Brock's Alienhead exhaust
    Pair valve/sucker mod
    Converted the cable clutch to hydraulic
    93 Pump Gas!!!

    Nice power. I am just finishing mine up now. Do you do the ecu flash? I need it done before it goes on the dyno. By the way, everything showed up yesterday on time as usual. Thanks.

    thats good numbers with that little bit of mods.

    Is it normal to only get that kinda horsepower gains w the upgrades to the motor u have? The reason I ask is cos my 05 1000 dynoed 169 and the motor is bone stock the way it left the factory. Just has a pc3 on it.

    Yeah, it's typical to 15-20 hp with the stuff I did to this one..So you would see 185-190'ish hp based off the 169 if you go back to the same dyno you got that 169 from..
