Thought it might be a good idea to start a thread that people chimed in what they knew worked on different years or doesn't work. Like swingarms, cams, motor covers, cases, clutch pieces, wheels, etc.....even stuff from other bikes that will work on 1000's. so lets hear everyone's different things off different years that they have used.

I know the 07-08 swingarm will not work on 01-06 gsxrs.

Also I know the 01-04 inner basket and hat will work 01-08 but need to take a 1/4" off the 05-08 hat pusher to have enough room.

Also I'm curious if all of the outer clutch baskets will work across the years like 01-08 work in all years?

Also you can put an 07-08 ECU and wiring harness on an 05-06 but you need to transfer over the 05-06 injector plugs, IAP sensor plug and you have to get an 07-08 cam position sensor with Brock's offset pin.

something that doesn't crossover is the 01-04, 05-06, and 07-08 all have to use their own air ducts, so if anyone wants to get the carbon fiber ones, they have to get the year that matches their bike.

01-04 gsxr swingarms will fit 99-07 swingarm or vise versus no spacers the busa is like a inch longer

so it sounds like most suzuki arms are interchangable...except for probably brake mounting and whatnot

That's true even the old srad arms fit the 00-04 gsxr and 99-07 busa but 05-06 the spacing is different then the older bikes but u can still make them work and the only difference in the 05-06 and 07-08 arms is the way the brake mounts
