2009-12 gsxr 1000 anything goin down with them?

This is a discussion about 2009-12 gsxr 1000 anything goin down with them? within the 1000's section, where you will 1 Liter Bike Talk for.... Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha; has anyone done any grudge builds with these bikes yet an what info can anyone tell me abt the motors? or should i stay with a 05-08 thanks josh

    From what I hear they eat clutches because of oil issues on the clutches but I'm not to sure I don't own one

    im hearing tha only thing u can do with them is a head acam package not really good on a big build

    what they said..and the clutch and swingarm pivot are high..I did some pipes and small mods arms airshifters ect to a few and the kids went decent on them for what they were..no gurudgebikes just street bikes..1 kid went 9.14 150 foot shifting on pump gas first time ever racing a bike down the track..and its only 62"..
