Windage tray does anyone use them in there oil pan

This is a discussion about Windage tray does anyone use them in there oil pan within the 1000's section, where you will 1 Liter Bike Talk for.... Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha; Just seeing if anyone uses them going 2 buy a koeing oil pan for my 07 turbo gsxr and was just wondering so I could order one if needed let me know thanks

    I don't build motors but I can't imagine anyone not using a tray. It keeps the oil from splashing around possibly temporarily starving the oil pump pickup. Also keeps the crank from slapping the oil that would be sloshing around in there and whipping it into a froth. I would buy the tray.

    Just make sure you buy 2 pan gaskets and put on on each side of the tray

    Where does everyone get them from I found a windagtray it says just take out old gasket and put in windagtray as if it was a new gasket

    Oil pan gaskets or Windage trays? Windage trays DME and a few other places sell them and gaskets go to your closest Suzuki dealer they usually keep those in stock. Hell DME has them too I would bet
