Is there a reason Hardcore isn't on your list?

All of them...Neither is any better than the other, its a personal preference...You can throw DME and Hardcore in the mix and make the choice even more complicated. You cant go wrong with any of them!

+128464. I love my evil arm. I've never owned the other ones but for the price it's definitely the way to go.

in other words HOW would you prefer to purchase and what features would you like?

We have done a ton of stock extending to stock arms in the past 18 years among other arms scratch built and chromoly so I am wondering what you would like to see ?

Good quality at an affordable price. It doesn't have to be the prettiest, shiniest piece. Just serve the function and not hurt the pocketbook so much. I think evil has that figured out. I'm not building a show bike, I just want something that functions. They have pretty much all the options of the bigger names, ( underbracing, 3 hole adjusters, air in arm, etc.) and it doesn't cost an arm and both legs to order one.

I'ved had a few of the above mention names and the one for me that had every good thing in a arm was Mcintosh Fab main thing i like is how Mc arms has the tick plastic protector at the front axel area so my chain dosent ear up my front bearings like others do.

Side note here giving props. I've had my welded stock swingarm at 12" over from Spencercycle and it was cheap and I've had it for years now. It allowed me to get serious into racing to spend money elsewhere and see what all I really wanted or needed.

With McIntosh arms, you saying that the rubber chain guide up front is better and help to save damage to swingarm bearings?

Standard pwdcoating of black should not be a added on price. If someone is requesting something outlandish then there should be at least a set price to cover or offset the price for the builder. Or maybe make it an option if the want pwdrcoated black or raw finish and make it like a $25 difference (not big IMO) but for say Lime Green then maybe something like $75 more. And that $75 would be the cost for anything other then black........IMO

I agree with the powder coat deal. I paid 75 I think for my DME arm to be in black and decided I want my frame and everything in a diff color so I wasted that money and it will cost more to have repowdercoated now that my guy has to strip it down lol. I've had a DME arm and two mcintosh arms now and I have a close friend with an Adams arm. I'd say DME and mcintosh are at the top as far as quality goes they do some really nice stuff. And both of those arms come with the gaurd that goes all the way past the swingarm pivot to protect it

Mac all the way. No question. I hate to say it but from a aesthetic appeal the mac and dme arms do look meatier then some of the budget offerings but you do get what you pay for.
