Will an 07 Sidewinder fit on a 05 GSXR?

This is a discussion about Will an 07 Sidewinder fit on a 05 GSXR? within the 1000's section, where you will 1 Liter Bike Talk for.... Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha; I hear people say it will work. Has anyone done this before? I know that they are listed as 05-06 or 07-08. Please let me know.

    Yes it will, to do so the exhaust flanges on the header need to be milled down to fit into the 05-06 head. Call Brock and he will tell you how much exactly

    yea but your gonna need the four header clamps for a 05 06 pipe then take the 07 08 clamps off the sidewinder and put the 05 06 clamps on so they will fit in the head
