Default ZX10R (06-07) Clutch Basket FYI!!!!!! and Question

Just an FYI. I am doing a top end build on my motor and checking everything out. I pulled the clutch basket off and noticed I had wear on the inside motor cases. I had the clutch basket reriveted and welded. What the problem is, is that the tabs on the spring holders on the back of the basket are bending outwards. A couple of more runs on that basket would've resulted in a complete disaster. Has anybody else seen anything like this and what did they do to fix it?

I had worse happen to me in the middle of a race weekend. I broke a couple of the rivets along with the tabs bending out. I swapped it with another stocker and have been fine for two years. I plan to have bigger rivets installed this winter.

normal. I hate to say that, but posted something about it two years ago and talk to kawasaki about it. have two 06 zx10r, one have the clutch basket rivets welded and still did it and the another one only had like 800 miles with no welded still had the markers. both markers was in the same spot. had other post and saying the samething. been racing both back since the post and no problem.

Yeah welding the rivets don't help because they are simply too small. I installed larger rivets in my basket and haven't had any.problems since

I did have Hays do the mod with the bigger rivets and welded. What i have is that the tabs that hold the springs in the back of the basket are bending out and loosing the springs.
