Gearing question

I have a 2006 GSXR 1000 with a Evil Swingarm And full bolt ons. What's the best 1/4 mile gearing for me? I'm running hand clutch, mr-12 fuel and I'm about 240lbs 6'5. Lmk thanks guys.

At your size I would go at the very least 15/46 (that equates to -2 and +4 from stock) and see where you are at rpm wise while going through the lights.

what is he trapping ? isnt he pretty much out of gearing at 144mph ?

i´ve got 16/46 on my 07 and im out of gearing at 154mph

depends on how long too, im sitting at 62" and am running 15/46 and its a beast. your a big guy so you might need more than that

Well my 02 Gixxer 1000 had -2/+5 and it would scream with me on it good.

Damn! I'm -2+3 and I cross on the limiter in 6th at 147

yeah i just watched a video from sunday. 06 stock motor 1000 going thru in 5th, im also around 215 suited

I'm-1+6. From what I've read you wanna gear the bike to finish the top of 6th with the 05-06'sThe added gear helps the bike get out of the hole and makes up for the crappy first gear ratio we got stuck with in the trans

sounds to me like you cant ride, i see your from chicago and im close to there so i say lets set something up. top of 6th and crappy trans??? maybe you just bought a lemon!!!!
