Well since i'm kinda new to this site some of you guys know me from the other 10r place.lol...i'm not new to the drag scene been goin since the late 80's and lots of tractor (hillbilly) pulls in the 70's as a kid..them chryco hemi's and allison turbines made a sound all of they're own i'm never gonna forget ...anyhow this is my drag grudge kinda project 04 zx10r ex-kawasaki canada kit superbike .....gonna start the build just collecting "good" parts here and there as $ permits ..lol...isnt that always the way..i have a 04 street 10r that i already have been buying drag parts for so now i can go all out with this build....."looking for a 14+ over arm reasonably priced i'm in ontario canada about an hour from detroit"...and a big thanks to cookmaster for the sidewinder and some really good advice and mattzx10r for helping with all my ?'s and parts so if anyone else wants to give some much needed advice on do's and dont's with the zx10 please pm or email Kawboy10@hotmail.com ...Thanks everyone cant wait to assault the 1320 with a badass 04 zx10r... i'm gonna call it "johnny cash" cause it's going to take $ to build cause 10r parts always seem to cost more as they are less common and it'll be the bike in black with an attitude... the green 10r is my streetbike that i finally won't have to change from drag to street anymore woohoo....btw my street 10 has 80,000km and motor hasnt been touched and still went 9.87@150 on motor strapped w/8in extensions...

This is just a few things i can think of right now

Head and cams, gen 3 retainers, springs, dry shot (20-50)
10's are known for spinning bearings, send cases to cycle concepts for oil mod to lower cases, single stage lock up , arm about 68-72

i'll have to get into the motor more but being a factory kawi bike they definately have done motor work so if i know what the oiling mod looks like it might have been done already....i have a 45 and 50 kit headgaskets but i've heard to use the stock thick headgasket and use thicker bearings helps keep them from spinning, any truth to that..i used straps when i was dragin my streetbike but i would much rather cut the forks an 1" 1.5" sound good?
